Since 2000 the principal additions have been Foresthall Park with 715 homes, Walpole Meadows and Elms Farm. Older cottages tend to have no driveway and restricted rear access, while the post-war and recent estates generally allow loading from a drive or parking area.
On Stansted Mountfitchet's terraced streets there's rarely a drive, so the truck stops in the road, right by the front door. Rear gardens with no side access are normal for us; we barrow it through the house on sheets if we have to.
