Harlow is a post-war New Town laid out in neighbourhoods separated by green wedges, with a lot of terraced housing served by footpaths and garage courts, blocks of flats, and newer districts at Church Langley and Newhall. Industry and trade premises are concentrated at Templefields and the Pinnacles.
Harlow was planned as a new town of distinct neighbourhoods, including Mark Hall, Netteswell, Great Parndon and Potter Street, built mainly as terraced houses with some flats; The Lawn, a listed tower block, dates from 1951. Pedestrian and vehicle routes were deliberately separated, so in places homes face footpaths or greens rather than a road. Later areas such as Sumners and Katherines from the 1970s, Church Langley and Newhall follow different layouts. From footpath-fronted terraces and upper-floor flats, bulky items need carrying some distance to the nearest road or parking area.
For flats we carry everything down ourselves, and we check the lift, the stairs and where the truck can stop when you book. The crew handles stairs, long carries and rear gardens; tell us about them when you book.
If waste from Harlow is found fly-tipped, Harlow Council traces it to the household, and the fine lands on you rather than the person you paid. Our carrier licence is CB/DU308513, and every job gets a transfer note with your address on it.
