How we price oil waste →Waste oil collection in Leigh-on-Sea: what to know
Leigh-on-Sea is the western end of Southend, with dense residential streets between London Road (A13) and the estuary, shops with flats above along the Broadway and Leigh Road, and the old fishing quarter of Old Leigh below the railway. It has its own tip at Leigh Marshes, open to Southend residents only.
Leigh's district centre runs along the Broadway and Broadway West, a parade that developed between the 1870s and 1920s and now holds independent boutiques, delicatessens, cafes and restaurants. London Road, the A13, forms a second strip of shops and services, with local centres at Elmsleigh Drive and Eastwood Road. In Old Leigh, pubs, seafood sellers and boat stores line the narrow High Street beside the working port. Leigh has no designated industrial estates. Waste is chiefly glass, food and cardboard, and the loading restrictions in Old Leigh limit where collection vehicles can stop.
We collect from Leigh Broadway, London Road (A13) and Leigh Road and everywhere else in SS9. Collections are usually within a couple of days of you calling.
