Priced per load by waste type. Half loads for smaller jobs. The pile needs to be within reach of the road or driveway.

- What it costs
- From £300 for a half load of soil to £840 for a full load of general waste, VAT included.
- What's included
- The grab lorry and driver, loading by the grab and licensed disposal, with a waste transfer note. A full load is about 16 tonnes or 14 cubic yards.
- Who loads it
- The grab lifts the pile itself, over walls and fences. It needs to be within about 6 metres of where the lorry can stand, with no cables overhead.
- When we come
- Booked Monday to Friday, except bank holidays, from the next working day.
- What could cost extra
- General waste costs more than soil or hardcore, so keep them apart: a half load of hardcore is £216, a half load of general waste £432.
- After you book
- Pay by card when you book online, through Stripe's secure checkout, and your confirmation comes by email. There's no need to call us. Free to cancel until 4pm the working day before; after that £42, or the booking price if that is less.

Questions people ask
How much does a grab lorry take?
About 16 tonnes or 14 cubic yards per full load. Both weight and volume matter, so tell us what the pile contains when you book. Half loads are available too.
Where does the pile need to be?
Within about 6 metres of where the lorry can stand, with no overhead cables. The grab reaches over walls, fences and hedges.
Grab or skip?
A grab can work out cheaper for a large pile of heavy waste that's ready to collect and within reach of the lorry. A skip suits waste that builds up over several days. Send photos if you're unsure which to book.
When do I pay?
Booked online, you pay by card there and then, through Stripe's secure checkout, and your confirmation comes by email. For a quoted job, or a booking made with our office: Payment is taken by card when we confirm your booking, by phone or a secure payment link. Trade accounts are invoiced monthly on 14-day terms once agreed in writing.
What if I need to cancel a one-off booking?
Free cancellation up to 4pm the working day before. After that a £42 call-out (£35 + VAT) is charged, or the price of your booking if that is less, and if you've already paid we refund the rest. For a skip, once the lorry has left to deliver it, the wasted journey fee is £60 (£50 + VAT) instead of the call-out. Booked as a private person, not a business? You can also cancel within 14 days after the day you book. If you didn't ask us to come within those 14 days, cancelling inside them is free. If you did ask us, cancelling before 4pm the working day before is still free. After that we have started work on your job, so you pay the late cancellation charge above, and once the job is done you can't cancel it. Our terms say how, with a form you can use.
